Rhett is the boy toy up top, right? The one my husband beat up awhile ago? Didn't he do that because the guy was sleeping with somebody else? Why the hell should it tear you up inside for doing exactly what he did to you? You're human, Melodi. Human's tend to act on impulse. So, are you feeling shitty out of regret for sleeping with this other guy or for seeking revenge on Rhett?

	Both? I should tell him. The only reason I got mad the first time, was because the girl wouldn't shut the fuck up about it. It was lacking tact and it hurt. Alright. So here's a question. Did you enjoy it? Because if you enjoyed it .. you shouldn't regret it. That's my motto anyway.

I recommend not telling him you were mad because some girl couldn't shut up about it. Well, no. Go ahead and tell him that. Just be warned that he'll probably use the reliable 'I'm not her' excuse, or something close to that. Since, well, really? He's not her. He can't control how much respect another person has for your feelings any more than you can control how much respect Johnnie had for his. It's a losing battle there.

I think you should stop beating yourself up about it. If you don't think he needs to know, don't tell him. But if you expect more from him, you're gonna have to be completely honest eventually. About this other guy, about your reasons for being with the other guy, about what you expect from him, and more importantly what you expect from yourself.
